Ryan Hunt

Expert Trainer

Ryan grew up just west of Arnprior, Ontario, where his parents spent summers with him and his sisters at their cottage on a private lake in Calabogie. From a young age, he developed a passion for the water, and learned to drive boats at just 10 years old.

He grew up as an avid slalom skier, tried barefooting, became known as the “king of the tube,” and spent countless hours on anything that would float! As he got older, he transitioned into board sports and still enjoys carving through the wake on calm evenings when the lake is glassy.

For Ryan, the water brings him a sense of peace and grounded-ness. A feeling and experience he enjoys instilling in others.

Ryan is excited to join The Wakeboat Course team, and to share his knowledge and passion for boating and water sports with others who are equally enthusiastic about watersports, boats, and the myriad of safety approaches that come with it.
